Hack The Future!

The WOnIT Mentor Program is a developed mentoring network for women in IT that promotes leadership, career enhancement, and encouragement. We focus on the engagement, education, and empowerment of influential women in technology and entrepreneurship. These are the core of our mentorship philosophy. We target established professionals, as well as the next generation of women around the world.

Hack the future!

Each mentoring program offers a five-part series conducted by a professional facilitator.

We also have special programs that serve underprivileged populations, providing access to training and mentoring to increase their opportunities for career betterment.

WOnIT Pro: Professional Women

WOnIT Pro is for entrepreneurial/intrapreneurial women seeking to hone their business skills and improve the key technical skills necessary for workplace advancement.

U WOnIT: Women in University

The U WOnIT program centers on attracting and retaining future female talent in the technical fields. It provides crucial career advice and networking, and introduces entrepreneurial skills that benefit students as they enter the professional world.

Participating universities develop their own chapters under the guidance of our Global Advisory Board. When possible, they work alongside existing WOnIT chapters. Members can choose to pair directly with someone in their desired field for one-on-one mentoring and can also choose to serve as mentors to the young women in the NextGen WOnIT program.

NextGen WOnIT: Young Women, our Next Generation

NextGen WOnIT concentrates on the next generation of young women in technology and STEM fields to increase knowledge and enthusiasm for those fields and empower those who are interested in entering them.

The program includes workshops in various technology and STEM fields, as well as the development of entrepreneurial and leadership skills.

Each NextGen WOnIT location works closely with existing WOnIT chapters for programming. Participants have the option to be paired with professional women and/or U WOnIT members for further one-on-one interactions.

“I have very personally felt the overwhelming loneliness, self-doubt and frustration
that often comes with the minority status of a woman in engineering. The more women
(and minorities) that enter and don’t leave the field, the better it all gets for everyone, including me!”
